Bruce Willis was ever the doting husband as he stepped out to run some errands with wife Emma Heming in New York's Upper East Side on Wednesday.
Not only did he lug the couple's grocery bag and a green refillable water bottle, but he also wasn't at all emasculated to be carrying his missus' small black handbag.
Ever the gentleman: Bruce Willis doted on wife
Emma Heming, carrying her handbag and snuggling up close during a stroll
through New York's Upper East Side on Wednesday
Men, take note! The action man wasn't at all emasculated carrying his missus' black handbag
The 58-year-old action man appeared to be enjoying a casual outing with his wife of four years, dressed in navy blue tracksuit pants, grey sneakers, a matching T-shirt, pale blue crumpled shirt and warm black puffa jacket.
Stunning Emma, an English model and actress, donned black opaque tights, matching sneakers and bundled up against the dropping temperature in a thigh-length dark blue jacket with big fur-trimmed hood.
The 35-year-old clutched her hubby's arm as they strolled along, past what appeared to be several large silver trailers lining the street set up for filming of some sort.
The Die Hard star is likely relishing some time off with his family - the couple have a 19-month-old daughter, Mabel - before he begins work on his latest project.
With Sin City sequel A Dame To Kill For currently in post-production, next up, Bruce will begin shooting American Assassin, The Prince and Expiration, all of which are due for 2014 releases.
Layering up: The 58-year-old dressed casually
for the outing, in navy blue tracksuit pants, grey sneakers, a matching
T-shirt, pale blue crumpled shirt and a warm black puffa jacket, while
he carried a water bottle and the couple's groceries
Rumours also abound that he'll reprise his role of John McClane in the sixth instalment of the Die Hard franchise, said to be titled Die Hardest, though there has been no official confirmation.
For his part, Willis has previously stated that he plans to retire the character after a sixth film.
'At the moment, I can run and I can fight on screen. But there will come a time when I no longer want to do that,' he admits. 'That’s when I’ll step away from the Die Hard films.'
The series has thus far spanned a whopping 25 years, with the first film having premiered in 1988 and the last to date, A Good Day To Die Hard, hitting cinemas in February this year.
The Cold Light Of Day: Bruce's wife of four
years, model Emma, looked chilled to the bone as she clung to her
husband, clad in black opaque tights, matching sneakers and a dark blue
coat with fur-trimmed hood
Downtime: The couple, who are parents to
19-month-old daughter Mabel, are no doubt relishing their time together
before the movie star begins work on several upcoming film projects set
to hit cinemas in 2014
