The former First Lady Of California - who turned 58 on Wednesday - was seen leaving Geoffrey's restaurant in Malibu with Oprah, as well as her daughters Christina and Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Oprah - who is allegedly working to hire Maria to host a show on her OWN network - wore her hair naturally curly and pulled it back with a sandy-coloured headband.
She finished off her stylish look with gold-trimmed sunglasses and a large watch.

She also tweeted a heartwarming birthday message to her mother that same day: 'Happy happy birthday to the most BEAUTIFUL and BEST mom in the world!! [sic]' accompanied by a glamorous picture of Maria when she was younger.

Maria filed for divorce from her husband of 25 years after revelations he had fathered a love child with the couple's nanny.
Since the split, the award-winning journalist has thrown herself back into work, and has rejoined NBC as a special anchor who will focus on women's issues in the work place and their changing roles in American life
