The Dynasty actress, 80, wore a figure-hugging peplum dress with flared sleeves to the event, which was held at the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair on Monday.

The author added an extra edge to her pencil skirted dress with fishnet stockings.
She also wore a diamond necklace, cuff bracelet, matching earrings and some jewelled

Her makeup was bold and classic with a bright red lipstick, burgundy nails and her characteristic sultry black eyeliner.

Joan’s autobiography, A Passion For Life, was released earlier this month and tells the stories of the actress’s adventures around the world.
She has recently been revealing extracts of the new book to the Daily Mail.
In her memoirs she reveals her thoughts about marriage and the men in her life, including the moment she lost her virginity to actor Laurence Harvey.
