Ashton Kutcher named TV's highest paid actor for second time after earning $24m a year for Two And A Half Men

Ashton Kutcher has been named as the highest paid actor on TV earning $24m a year for his role on the hit comedy Two and a Half Men.

The 35-year-old star, who replaced Charlie Sheen after his drugs meltdown, topped the list for the second consecutive year.

His co-star on the show Jon Cryer was named as the second highest paid taking home $21m.

Angus T Jones, who came under fire for criticising the show, was seventh on the annual Forbes List of highest paid TV stars.

The 19 year old earned $11m for his role, according to Forbes magazine.

Sheen, who until his well documented firing from the show in 2011 was the highest paid star on TV with earnings of over $35m,scraped into the top ten list with earnings of $10.

Ray Romano was named as the third highest paid with $16 with most of the income coming from syndication rights from his long running show Everyone Loves Raymond.

Neil Patrick Harris who stars in How I Met Your Mother was fourth with $15m while Mark Harmon from NCIS was fifth also with $15m.

Dexter star Michael C Hall was ninth on the list with $10m.

Forbes compiled their annual list by talking to producers, agents, managers and other insiders to estimate earnings from entertainment-related sources before taxes and expenses.
