Bonding over baseball! Tom Cruise and son Connor cheer on the Los Angeles Dodgers as they attend sold out playoffs game

Tom Cruise and his teenage son Connor enjoyed some father and son bonding time the traditional way on Tuesday, at the old ballpark.
The 51-year-old Hollywood superstar and his 18-year-old son cheered on their hometown team as the Los Angeles Dodgers faced the St. Louis Cardinals in a playoff game at Dodger Stadium.
The pair stood and clapped as the Dodgers tried unsuccessfully to mount a comeback against the Cardinals in front of a sold-out crowd at the venerable stadium near downtown LA.

Tom dressed casually for the game in a blue crew-neck sweatshirt, blue jeans and a pair of dark sunglasses.

Connor followed his father's lead, also wearing a low-key ensemble consisting of a short-sleeved blue shirt with a paisley pattern and jeans.
The visiting Cardinals beat the Dodgers 4-2 to take a three games to one advantage in the best-of-seven series.

Earlier Connor had shared his excitement about attending the game with his famous father on Twitter.
'Dodger game with pops #blue,' Connor tweeted as the game was about to begin.
He later thanked the Los Angeles Police Department for their assistance at the stadium via Twitter.

Eye on the action: Connor and Tom were riveted by the game

In June, Connor and his famous father also attended a playoff hockey match to cheer on the Los Angeles Kings.
Connor and his older sister Isabella, 20, were adopted by Tom and his second wife Nicole Kidman.
Tom also has a seven-year-old daughter Suri from his third ex-wife Katie Holmes.
