The son of late singer Marvin Gaye announced earlier this week that he's been receiving dialysis for renal failure for three years and he's having trouble finding a suitable kidney for transplant.
He said he is sharing his condition publicly to help draw attention to the challenges blacks and Hispanics face in finding healthy organ donors.

Meanwhile, Marvin Gaye's estate is engaged in a legal battle over Robin Thicke's summer smash, Blurred Lines.
They claim the number one hit sounds very similar to Gaye's 1977 funk/disco song Got To Give It Up.
Thicke,
along with collaborator Pharrell Williams and TI, filed a lawsuit in
August asking a judge to rule that their song does not copy Gaye's.
The move was to guard against Gaye's heirs claiming in the future that Thicke, Williams and TI stole the song.
