'Living for love': Madonna counts her blessings as she returns to Malawi orphanage where she adopted Mercy James... and enjoys ride on swing

Madonna has returned to the orphanage in Malawi where she adopted Mercy James.
The 56-year-old singer shared some cute Instagram snaps on Thursday, showing Mercy and her other adopted child, David Banda, playing at Kondanani Children's Home.
In one frame, Madonna is sitting on a swing while her daughter pushes her.

The mother-of-four has opted not to spend Thanksgiving in America, but in the spirit of giving thanks, but reflected on what she was grateful via social media.
'Getting pushed around by Mercy James at Kondanani Orphanage! #livingforlove,' she
wrote in a caption accompanying the snap of her on the swing.
Another image showed Mercy, born in 2005, and brother David, aged nine, hanging upside down, while playing outside the orphanage.

Also on Thursday, Madonna visited the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi's second largest city and commercial capital.
The Material Girl songstress mixed with medical staff and children while in town to launch a new project to construct a paediatric surgery and intensive care unit, which will enable the hospital to double the number of surgeries for children.

Madonna arrived in the central African country on Wednesday, marking her first trip to Malawi since her furious row with the country's former president 18 months ago.
The singer is believed to have flown in with the two children she adopted from the central African country and her biological son Rocco, 14, for surprise talks with the new leader.
Madonna, who funds orphanages in the country and is helping to build schools and hospitals, was unceremoniously sent packing in April last year after a dispute with ex-president Joyce Banda.

Mrs Banda attacked the pop star for being 'arrogant' and bizarrely accused her of being less well-mannered than footballers Gary Neville or Rio Ferdinand 'despite their equally dazzling stature'.
However, new president Peter Mutharika, who beat Banda at the May polls, has welcomed the pop star with open arms, and also restored her VVIP status.
State House press secretary Frederick Ndala said: 'We welcome Madonna as guest of the government and people of Malawi.
'The President appreciates the charity work she is doing for the people of Malawi.'

Madonna is scheduled to hold talks with President Mutharika on Friday at his official Kamuzu Palace in the capital, Lilongwe.
The singer's visit has also prompted speculation on social media that she may be wanting to adopt another child.
On Wednesday Madonna posted a snap of a Malawian child with the caption: 'Who's That Girl?'
One follower replied: 'Is that your new baby girl? She's adorable! She's telling you with her eyes take me with you...'
Madonna first visited Malawi in 2006 after her Malawian friend Victoria Keelan told her about the impoverished southern African country's AIDS situation.
She immediately adopted then one-year-old David Banda at an orphanage.

She adopted her second Malawian child, Mercy Chifundo James, in 2009, at another orphanage -Kondanani.
She periodically visits Malawi, often with all her children - including daughter Lourdes, 18, who has not made the trip this time around.
She funds a number of orphanages, including Home of Hope in the western border district of Mchinji where she got David, and Kondanani Children's Home in the southern tea-growing district of Thyolo.
