Her exquisite white lace designer gown cost a cool $500,000 while the 16th century picturesque Italian venue set them back another $410,000.
But this, it seems, was small change for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West when it came to splashing the cash for their wedding in Florence last weekend.
The
opulent nuptials cost a whopping $12 million according to reports, with
hotels, private jets and that 7ft vanilla and berry cake all adding to
the cost.
The happy couple: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West walking down the aisle
at Fort Belvedere in Florence last weekend in an opulent ceremony
reported to have cost a whopping $12 million
Admittedly, Kim looked stunning in her custom-made Givenchy Haute Couture gown, featuring lace panels and pearls teamed with a cathedral-length veil, but her glamorous
look didn't come cheap.
Designed by Kanye's friend - Givenchy's creative director Riccardo Tisci - the dress is reported to have set her back around $500,000, with even her Balmain heels costing $40,000.
'Riccardo personally dressed Kim before she walked down the aisle,' a wedding guest told People.
Even
the couple's 11-month-old daughter North wore Givenchy - albeit a
slightly more reasonably priced mini version of Kim's gown, while her
musician father sported a black tuxedo by the designer.
Apparently, Kim's couture was so precious, it was even given its own hotel room at the five star Villa San Michele hotel.
'It was filled with clothes and shoes,' stiletto designer Gualtiero Vannelli told Us Weekly.
And the reality star was also determined her guests should look their best for the nuptials - employing a 'glam squad' to perfect guests' hair and make-up - a service which People estimate cost $65,000.
Of course, glamorous clothes need a glamorous venue - and the happy couple hired 16th Century Forte di Belvedere in Florence for the occasion.

Don't mess with the dress: Kim's bridal wear apparently had its own hotel room
This included a grandiose 20ft wall of white flowers, with the wall of blooms featuring white roses, peonies and out-of-season bushels of tuberose - known for their beautiful fragrance.
People reports that the wedding flowers were prepared at one of the city's oldest florists - Fiori Della Signoria and set the couple back $136,000.
Opera star Andrea Bocelli charges anywhere from $136,000 to $1.3 million dollars per performance, and he was on hand to sing Con te Partiro, and Ave Maria when Kim walked down the aisle.

Well
known for his love of extravagance - Kanye ordered a $478,000 230 ft
Calacatta Vaticano marble table for the wedding reception.
'[It
was] so big, it was hoisted into the venue in 22 pieces via crane,'
report Us, while its designer Gualtiero Vannelli described it as 'like
the table from the last supper.'
The same marble was also apparently used by artist Vanessa Beecroft to make 15 nude statues as commissioned by art fan Kanye.
Estimating the cost of the food to be 'easily in the tens of thousands,' People report the 200 guests
dined on a feast prepared by top chefs Annie Féolde and her husband Giorgio Pinchiorri whose own Florence restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri can set guests back $90 for a just plate of spaghetti.

Then
there was the extravagant cake, accidentally pictured in the background in an Instagram shot posted
by wedding guest Franca Sozzani.
The 7ft vanilla and berry confection was
decorated with 'delicate gold leafs,' a source told E! With
each sheet of gold costing around 50 euros each, the website reports
the total cost of Kim and Kanye's cake was close to €5,000 in total -
around $6,800.
But
Florence was only the second leg of the extravagant nuptials - Kim and
Kanye first hired out the palace of Versailles for their rehearsal
dinner, although Lana Del Rey has since said she performed Kim's favourite song Young And Beautiful for no fee at the bash.
The couple footed the hotel bills for their guests - with many staying at the luxury five-star Hôtel George V in Paris - with the nightly rate around $750.
After putting on two private jets to fly
everyone from Paris to Florence for the big day - at a cost of around
$74,000 per aircraft, a fleet of 45 to 50 cars transported them to the
venue - priced at $70,000.
Once
in Italy, the bride and groom again shelled out around $885 a night per
room - which adds up to around half a million in total.
The plush Four Seasons and St Regis hotels weren't quite good enough for the Kardashian clan though. The family stayed at the Belmond Villa San Michele just outside the city, with a room at the luxury 15th century abode reportedly costing at least $1800 a night.
The happy couple are now enjoying a honeymoon in Ireland.
