Mommy to the rescue! Nicole Kidman runs for shelter with her daughters after they get caught in a rain storm

Los Angeles saw a downpour of rain on Friday.

The weather certainly put Nicole Kidman in a tight spot, as she struggled to shepherd her two youngest daughters from their car to their destination.

The 46-year-old actress looking a bit distressed, with her hands full carrying three-year-old Faith as well as her backpack, as the rain pelted down.

The Cold Mountain star braved the elements in a grey waterproof vest over a long sleeved black top, teamed with comfy black pants and grey Ugg boots.
She wore her hair swept back in a messy bun with her sunglasses propped on her head.

Five-year-old Sunday tagged along in a bright pink rain coat over a flouncy green dress, grey leggings, and black rain boots.

Nicole also has two adopted children with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

It's lucky for Sunday and Faith that their parents, Nicole and Keith Urban, 46, have such a great relationship.

'Keith and I are both gypsies at heart,' the beautiful blonde said. 'We can make our home wherever we are. The girls are like that too now, so we take them everywhere.'
'Sunday will come with me [to the film set] and just hang - she'll draw and write and play and do her own thing. She's very bright, so I'm able to tell her about the performances and be quite open with her. It sparks her imagination.'

Meanwhile Faith apparently idolises her father.

'Faith will stand side-stage at Keith's shows wearing her big pink headphones to protect her ears and watch, riveted, and play an imaginary guitar.

The release of Nicole's hotly anticipated film, Grace Of Monaco, has been further delayed – now set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
