'Whitney taught me how to be a man:' Nick Gordon speaks of his gratitude to adoptive mum and vows to always to look after wife Bobbi Kristina Brown

Nick Gordon has spoken out about his gratitude to 'Mum' Whitney Houston, who taught him 'how to be a man, how to respect women'.
The 24-year-old, who married Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 20, in a secret ceremony in January, told The Sun's Pete Sampson: 'I owe everything to her.
'She made me promise several times to look after Krissi. And I will never break that promise.'

Bobbi, normally known as Krissi, also revealed that her mum would have wanted her to marry 'brother' Nick.

In her first newspaper interview with The Sun, Bobbi, 20, told Pete Sampson: 'She would always be saying to us, "you guys are going to get married. I already know you're going to get married and have children."'
Nick was taken in by Whitney 12 years ago, and although he was not legally adopted, grew up in the family home in Atlanta, Georgia.

The couple became even closer after Whitney's death in February 2012, when she drowned in a hotel bath after consuming a number of different drugs.
Krissi and Nick secretly wed in January near their home in Atlanta, but are now planning a bigger ceremony in the summer.
And Krissi added that Whitney would have been the first person 'fussing' about planning the function.

Krissi understands why their relationship has shocked people, who have likened the partnership to a form of incest.
But she admitted that falling in love with each other came as a surprise to them both as before they have cohabited as 'best friends, as brother and sister'.
Shortly after Whitney's death, many feared that Krissi would turn to drugs to cope with the grief, with family members also worrying what will happen next month when she turns 21-years-old and inherits £1.2million - the first part of her mum's £12 million fortune.
Reported by The Sun last week, some family members fear that Nick may not be the best influence on Krissi, after being arrested for speeding in November, and many fear that their relationship could end up like Whitney and Krissi's father Bobby Brown.

But Krissi is confident and assured by her marriage to Nick, who bought her a £12,000 engagement ring.
She also revealed that she wants to start a family with her husband, but right now is concentrating on launching a music career, citing Whitney as her inspiration.
Krissi admitted that her new album will be a platform to hear all her emotions coming out about her mum's death, and also includes influences from Whitney's music.
Both Krissi and Nick even sport matching wrist tattoos , 'WH', in honour of the late superstar.
