'You're all over the place!': Anchorman star Steve Carell hijacks weather girl's slot on Daybreak

He’s famous for his role as a meteorologist in Anchorman. And Steve Carell turned weatherman in real life as he hijacked the forecast on ITV's Daybreak.

The comic actor appeared on the show talking about his catchphrases and how he practices his comedy on his kids.
He then took on Laura Tobin’s role as weather reporter, getting in front of the weather map, saying ‘You’re all over the place!’ before joking, ‘This is the hardest job in the world!’

He also seemed amused by the weather in Britain and the abundance of fog, asking 'what is that?' and laughing 'there's more fog!' as Laura explained the forecast.
He also gave her some presenting tips, saying ‘If I can give you a piece of advice, it would be clear your mind and think of anything but the weather while you’re doing this.’
Steve revealed he never thought his one-liners would catch on, saying: ‘When you say “I love lamp” in a movie, you don’t think that’ll be [a catchphrase]!’
And on rumours of an Anchorman stage show, Steve admitted he would love to see a musical happen.

He said: ‘They loved it, like I’m going to say they hated it…’ before adding, ‘I practice on them at home.’
