The two retro stunners were busy proving age is just a number at a party in Beverly Hills, California.
The faces that launched millions of dollars worth of beauty and health products were catching up as they celebrated fellow 1970s star Anjelica Huston's new memoir A Story Lately Told.
Party people: Laura Hutton and Jane Fonda looked
ageless as they celebrated friend Anjelica Huston's memoir in Beverly
Hills, California, on Friday night
Even without trying, it was impossible not to see why the pair had been such a formidable force in Hollywood with Jane and Lauren - who are 75 and 70, respectively - looking like they could easily walk straight onto a fashion shoot.
It was if the attendees had gone back in time to Tinsel Town's party period with not only Jane and Laura attending but also Anjelica and her long time love Jack Nicholson as well as the always stylish Helen Mirren.

Intergalactic beauty: Jane Fonda shot to fame as sexy character Barbarella in the film by the same name in 1968
Model next door: Lauren, seen here in 1975, was known for her all-American looks which included a gap between her teeth
The pair had one of Hollywood's longest running on-again, off-again love affairs spanning from 1973 to 1989.
While the Royal Tenenbaums star did end up marrying someone else - in 1992 to sculptor Robert Graham, who passed away in 2008 - she and Jack remain very close.
Love through the ages: Hollywood icon Jack
Nicholson, flashed his famous smirk as he posed with the lady of the
hour, and his on and off again lover, 62-year-old Anjelica
'We've had a long and deep friendship, and Jack's somebody that I want in my life. I wouldn't be happy not having him in my life,' she wrote.
It is believed the second edition of her autobiography - tentatively titled Watch Me - delves deeper into their 17-year romance.
While the night was all about the star's memoir it was clear no one was thinking too deeply about the past.
To you! The event's hosts Mike Medavoy and wife Irena made sure everyone raised a glass to the actress
It was revealed this week that the Jane Fonda Foundation did not make a single charitable donation for five years, even though the organisation was valued at nearly $800,000.
Fonda's attorney Barry Hirsch told MailOnline that the two-time Oscar winner had omitted to make charitable contributions in 2011.
However, he explained her foundation had since made a larger donation at the start of 2013 to make up for the missed payments.

also joined in the celebration getting the night's star to a sign a copy
of her book. The actresses posed with Town & Country's Jennifer
