Party time! Anne Hathaway celebrates her 31st birthday alongside Hollywood heavyweights Sidney Poitier and Michael Caine

Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway celebrated her 31st birthday in style on Saturday night, alongside a host of A-list stars.

The Brooklyn-born actress celebrated her special day with her husband, Adam Shulman, as well as actors Michael Caine and Sidney Poiter and director Christopher Nolan at local celebrity haunt, Mr. Chow’s restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Wearing an outfit more suited to someone older than her years, Anne looked happy and in good spirits at the star-studded bash.

The Les Miserables star wore a full-length, floral skirt with a long, grey overcoat and a see-through blue plastic handbag.
Her hair, which she famously cropped for her role in Les Miserables, was simply and straight, and the star had minimal make-up on.
The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning actor Adam echoed the casual vibe for the evening in a grey sweater with a striped, knitted scarf loosely thrown around his neck. 
The pair were met by American-born Bahamian actor, Sidney Poitier – most famous for his Academy Award winning role in Lilies of the Field - at the restaurant.

The Dark Knight star Michael Caine also rocked up to celebrate Anne’s birthday, arriving in a smart blue suit jacket and a grey shirt with gold-rimmed spectacles on.
And world-famous movie director Christopher Nolan, who helmed Inception and The Dark Knight, arrived at the intimate bash with what looked like a gift for the pretty actress.
It seems Anne and Adam are enjoying the quiet life at the moment, having been spotted walking their dog, Esmeralda, in Hollywood’s Fryman Canyon.

With not a soul in sight, the actress and her husband took their chocolate Labrador out into the wilderness to tackle some steep trails.

Dressed in extremely baggy trousers, a black top and beige cardigan, Anne's clothing choice was a stark contrast to the usually trendily-dressed hikers in LA who workout in expensive Lululemon or Nike clothes.

The couple, who were wed in Big Sur, California, in September 2012, linked arms as they walked down the winding path on the three-mile loop in the Hollywood Hills, that has 450-feet of elevation gain.
