But no-one could have predicted just how young little Beau would be, posing up alongside his parents in a sports-themed shoot at just a few weeks old.
The tot is seen dressed in a super-cute babygro printed with red stitching to make it look like a baseball as his mother and father cuddle him close.

player Cutter in a giraffe-shaped photo frame.
Beau Kyle Dykstra was finally welcomed into the world at 3.53pm on August 28, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 4oz.
And despite having been in labour for a staggering 36 hours, Jamie-Lynn later said that her
five-strong entourage of friends and family and the Guns n Roses soundtrack made it feel more like a party than giving birth.

While the stunning star was clearly in her element during the proceedings, Cutter wasn't quite as comfortable.
'Cutter couldn't look below my knees,' Jamie-Lynn said. 'He ran to the corner of the room after every pushing session. We called it Cutter's Corner!'

After welcoming Beau into the world, Jamie-Lynn said in a candid interview with WebMD: 'I wasn't scared of childbirth. I educated myself and did my fair share of research, and that made me feel a little more prepared.'
But she did get help from a doula - a coach who assists pregnant women before, after or during labour.

'Being pregnant is the most natural thing our bodies can do,' she said, adding that she didn't read any baby books because they made her panic. 'Our grandparents did it without all these books, and they came out okay.'
However Jamie-Lynn admitted that the first few months of her pregnancy were a little more tricky.

Set to wed: Next on the couple's agenda is a wedding, after announcing their engagement back in January
'I found out I was pregnant at five weeks, and at six weeks, the nausea and exhaustion kicked in pretty hard,' she said. 'They call it morning sickness, but for me it was 24-hour sickness.'
Her diet completely changed: 'All I could eat was bagels for about three months,' she laughed.
And pregnancy meant giving up some of her favourite things. She missed sushi and champagne. 'I was also never a big drinker, but I'd watch the Real Housewives shows and they were all drinking champagne, and it looked so good to me!' she confesses.

The Entourage favourite also clocked in a lot of nap time and wasn't able to stay up past 10pm. 'I'd sleep for 12 hours,' she revealed.
Jamie-Lynn, 32, and Cutter, 24, first stepped out in March 2012 after having dated for about a year. They announced their engagement in January and about two weeks later revealed the news that they were expecting a baby.
Best known for playing Meadow on The Sopranos, she recently starred in the TV sitcom Guys With Kids in the role of Emily, as well as the hit HBO series Girls.
