But despite attending the high profile event, Leonardo DiCaprio was back to his usual low profile self as he headed home from Los Angeles on Monday.
The 38-year-old actor kept his hat-wearing head down as he made his way through the airport to catch his flight.

Leonardo wore a pair of light-wash jeans, a zip-up grey jacket and navy gilet, teamed with sunglasses, a flat cap and blue plimsolls.
Despite looking in less than cheery spirits as he rushed to board the plane, Leonardo will undoubtedly be slightly happier later this month when he marks his 39th birthday on November 11th.
The big day not only marks Leo's birthday, however, as it also the UK release date for the DVD of his movie The Great Gatsby.

Leo stars as the titular Gatsby in Baz Luhrmann's movie, in which he appears alongside Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton, among others.
Speaking previously about the film, Leo said that starring as Jay Gatsby in the reinvented film gave him a whole new perspective on the character of the troubled billionaire.
He said: 'I remember reading the book in high school and always thinking of Gatsby as this strong, stoic, suave, mysterious man who had everything under control.

'But when I read it as an adult I realised he is a hollow man, a shell of a person trying to find meaning, who is not completely in touch with reality.
'He’s a great tragedy and the story’s a great tragedy, too.'
The Great Gatsby is available on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download from 11th November.
