She told fashion website Refinery29: 'I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another.

The 40-year-old actress also said she wouldn’t rule out dating a sex addict.
She said: 'I’m an extremely open-minded person, so I think if it was something I knew I was getting myself into, I wouldn’t let it deter me from exploring the relationship.'
Still going strong: Gwyneth has been married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for 10 years
The interview comes ahead of the release of her new film Thanks For Sharing, co-starring Mark Ruffalo, whose character suffers from the affliction.
The mother-of-two has previously admitted her own marriage is not all plain-sailing.
In an interview earlier this year, the actress opened up about her relationship with the musician.
She said: ‘It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple.
‘I asked my dad once, "How did you and Mum stay married for 33 years?" And he said, "Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time." And I think that’s what happens.

‘When two people throw in the towel at the same time, then you break up, but if one person’s saying, "Come on, we can do this," you carry on.'
The Hollywood star insists that she has a strong relationship with Martin, 36, with whom she has two children, Apple, eight, and Moses, six.
She added: ‘We laugh, we’re good friends, we like to do the same stuff.’
‘I’m a very grounded, homey person and Chris is a very mad scientist, genius songwriter.
'So I never say: "Where are you? You should be home by now." I never place demands on him because I think he’s a really talented man and he’s putting something good into the world.'
