Family day out! Naomi Watts and husband Liev Schrieber take their sons to New York's San Gennaro Festival

She is an A-list Hollywood actress who regularly enjoys family outings during her time away from filming.

Naomi Watts and her husband Liev Schrieber were recently spotted treating their sons to some Italian culture at the San Gennaro Festival in New York’s Little Italy.

Naomi looked in high spirits as she strolled with her husband and their sons Alexandar Sasha, 6, and Samuel Kai, 4, who were riding scooters.

The 44-year-old actress looked happy and relaxed in a casual outfit of a heart print grey T-shirt, a black blazer, baggy turned-up jeans and black ballerina shoes.
 She wore her blonde hair scraped back into a ponytail and covered her eyes with black oversized sunglasses.
She also carried a black cross-body bag, keeping her hands free to walk her 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Bob.

The actress’s 45-year-old husband Liev Schrieber opted for a beige outfit, wearing a matching shirt and trousers, a tight-fitting white T-shirt and brown suede shoes. 

Naomi is currently starring as Princess Diana in the film biopic, Diana but reportedly walked out of an interview with BBC Radio 5 after being probed on different aspects of the shoot.

According to The Telegraph, host Simon Mayo interviewed the star at her hotel, and claimed she walked out after becoming 'uncomfortable' with his questions.

The actress exited the interview when Simon asked if Diana's producers got permission to film on royal grounds, and also addressed research Naomi did to prepare for the role.

The Mail's Christopher Tookey wrote about the picture: 'It has the slightness of a Barbara Cartland novella, but the love affair is treated with ponderous solemnity, as though it were another Gone With The Wind. It’s slow and terribly, terribly dull'.

The Australian actress is currently working on While We're Young and Holland, Michigan and just finished filming St. Vincent de Van Nuys and Birdman.
