Emotional Sharon Osbourne can't hold back the tears as son Jack wows judges on DWTS following his tough year

He has undoubtedly been through one of the most tragic times of his life recently.
However, Jack Osbourne bravely took to the ballroom dance floor on Tuesday, wowing in the opening show of Dancing With The Stars.
But it seems that it was all too much for his mother Sharon Osbourne who watched from the audience.

The UK X Factor judge appeared to be crying as her son confidently took to the floor with his partner Cheryl Burke.

The 27-year-old, who less than a fortnight ago revealed wife Lisa had miscarried their second child, scored 23 for a playful foxtrot with partner Cheryl Burke.
'I want to know how Sharon’s feeling right now because momma bear should be so proud of her son,' Carrie Ann said, as the cameras cut to Jack’s mother Sharon Osbourne sobbing tears of joy in the crowd.

His rock star father Ozzy and wife Lisa were also there to support Jack, who has said he is doing the show to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis – the disease he was diagnosed with in 2012.
'Right now I’m physically able to do DWTS but it might not always be this way so I don’t want to miss this opportunity,' he explained.
Jack, who has previously battle alcohol and drug addiction, won the judges over with his dance, which was performed to Pack Up by Eliza Doolittle.

'You can dance. That was fabulous. You’re going to give your sister a run for her money,” Len said, referring to his sister Kelly who came third on the show in 2009.

Bruno, meanwhile, described Jack’s performance as 'joyful, playful and uplifting'.
When asked about how he was feeling on the show, a modest sounding Jack said: 'we all have our own personal problems to overcome.'
The fearsome family matriarch and her husband Ozzy were earlier seen visiting him at his Dancing with the Stars last minute rehearsals on Monday and was seen placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Stoic Jack, stood with his hands on his hips as he said goodbye to his mum just a few hours before the Season 17 opener of the popular Abc show was due to air.
He would have been forgiven for pulling out of the show after he and his wife Lisa learned of their tragic news.
The devastated couple were looking forward to welcoming a brother for their 16 month-old daughter Pearl.

Later in the day, Jack's wife Lisa was spotted arriving at the set to cheer on her husband.

The pair married in Hawaii in October and only announced they were expecting their second child in early August.
Lisa, also 27, looked stunning in an electric blue skater dress and strappy sandals.

In promotional material for the show, Jack said he was motivated by both his family and his diagnosis to take part in the competition.
His sister Kelly was a contestant in previous years.
He said: 'A large part was talking with my family, including my sister, who had such a good time, and my wife really loving the show.'

'Kelly will be there. She's probably going to be secretly hoping I don't do better than she did.'
Adding: 'Having been diagnosed with MS, I saw it as an opportunity to keep awareness on people's minds.
'Although there is treatment for it, we're no closer to a cure. I'm trying to raise awareness that way.'
Meanwhile Jersey Shore's Snooki was spotted later on walking in full dance regalia.
The diminutive reality star was escorted around the lot by security wearing a silver sequined dress.
