Stepping
out for a snack , AnnaSophia, 19, strolled the rainy New York streets
Thursday while on set shooting the second season of her CW television
series, The Carrie Diaries.
The
young actress wore a familiar paisley print robe and flip flops over a
printed shirt, and let her natural curls whirl in the humidity.

She was, however, careful to bring along an oversized green umbrella to spare her face a make-up smudge.
The
look may have paled in comparison to what her character Carrie Bradshaw
typically wears, but AnnaSophia appeared quite comfortable keeping it
casual during those off-duty moments.
She walked through the drizzle carrying her iPhone and water bottle, and picked up what appeared to be a small salad.
Later, the clouds broke and the actress felt no need to carry the extra load over her head.

Truth be told, AnnaSophia may have enjoyed a break from the spicier, more eye-catching outfits she wears filming the series.
The
star of the prequel to HBO's Sex And The City caused a stir earlier in
September in a tight-fitted, leopard print mini-dress and platform
heels, which she had on display during a shoot in Brooklyn.
The teen series follows a young Carrie through her high school years, as she begins her ascent into New York high society.

More recently, AnnaSophia lived up to her part in real life, arriving to the Young
Hollywood Awards this August in a Pucci floral print frock and Jimmy Choo gold
heels.
She similarly wowed
cameras at an opening for Sunglass Hut's Time Square store September 10,
appearing in a fitted black dress alongside actress Olivia Munn.
Nevertheless,
the young star doesn't seem as keen on stilettos as her alias,
considering she's often spotted swapping out her designer pumps for flip
flops when the cameras stop rolling.

It may be she's getting used to life in the big city.
The star told Company magazine in its September issue that she moved to New York for the show, and was having to make adjustments.
She said: 'You go from knowing the routine you have known your whole life and
being around people you have known for ages, to meeting a whole new set
of people and experiencing changes.'
In addition to her television
career, AnnaSophia starred in the summer indie flick, The Way, Way Back,
along with Steve Carell, Toni Colette, and Maya Rudolph.
The second season of The Carrie Diaries premieres October 25.
