While the notoriously independent star has turned down her partner's proposals on a number of previous occasions, speculation is rife that Kourtney's finally come around to the idea, much to her baby daddy's happiness.
According to Life&Style, the couple are reportedly eyeing up close friend Joe Francis' luxury five-star property in picturesque Punta Mita, Mexico - where they vacationed as a family in January - for their low-key destination nuptials.
Talk about a long time coming! Two children and
seven years into their relationship, Kourtney Kardashian is said to have
finally accepted partner Scott Disick's marriage proposal
residence Casa Aramara costing as much as $30,000.
They'll also reportedly part with a cool $100,000 on round-trip private jet flights for their guests.
So what's behind the mom-of-two's change of heart about marrying her beau?
Friends say the 34-year-old has come to the realisation that she and the couple's children - Mason, four, and 20-month-old Penelope - are all Scott has following the tragic passing of both of his parents in recent months.

Location, location! The beachside residence will

'Kourtney realised that she's all he has. It's made her see things differently,' a friend of the pretty brunette's tells the latest issue of Life&Style magazine, adding: 'This is the perfect time for Scott and Kourtney to get married.'
The same pal tells the publication that things have been 'going really well between them' of late, leading Kourtney to the decision to 'finally agree to walk down the aisle'.
With their wedding said to be just around the corner, Life&Style reports that the soon-to-be Mr and Mrs Scott Disick farewelled the single life with bachelor and bachelorette parties in New York City on February 22.
Despite reportedly enlisting the help of wedding planner to the stars Sharon Sacks - who has planned nuptials for the likes of Vanessa and Nick Lachey, Lily Aldridge and Caleb Followill and,
of course, Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom - an insider insists the couple 'doesn't want a big production like Kim's wedding'.
'Kourtney realised that she's all he has': The
doting parents of Mason, four, and Penelope, 20 months - pictured in
Calabasas on Tuesday - had reached an impasse where marriage was
concerned, but the death of Scott's parents made Kourt 'see things
differently'
'There are rules about that kind of thing':
While the couple are over the moon at their impending nuptials, sister
Kim Kardashian - pictured right with Kourtney and Khloé at Elton John's
Oscars Viewing Party on Sunday - is upset at the pair stealing her
wedding thunder
'There are rules about that kind of thing,' a source close to Kim tells the magazine. 'If your sister gets engaged before you do, you don't get married before her!'
The eldest Kardashian sister is also said to have approached family friends Lorraine Schwartz and Vera Wang to design the couple's custom rings and her one-of-a-kind gown, respectively.
Of course, both Khloé and Kim walked down the aisle in stunning Vera Wang designs, while Kim has been presented with not one, but two dazzling Lorraine Schwartz diamonds - first from husband of just 72 days Kris Humphries and, most recently, Kanye.
One step closer: According to reports, the pair
