Clap along! Pharrell Williams makes Brisbane Happy as he hits the stage during Australia-wide tour

The sunshine state got a little bit sunnier when Pharrell Williams took to the stage in Brisbane.
The Happy singer played at the Brisbane Riverstage on Wednesday night as part of his Australian tour.
The hip hop star headed up to Queensland following a crowd-pleasing performance headlining at the Future Music Festival in Sydney on Saturday.

He was a last-minute addition to the festival lineup and took to the main stage just after 4pm to perform a 30 minute set.
MTV reports that a group of girls jumped the barrier at the Sydney show and swarmed the stage, and when security tried to remove them he said: ‘These girls are the reason I’m here and number one in this country. They can do whatever the f*** they want!’

A crowd formed, hoping to catch sight of the singer, who is currently sitting at number one on Australia’s charts.
Pharrell is slated to perform one final show before concluding his Australian tour, at Challenge Stadium, Mt Claremont in Western Australia on Friday.
The Happy singer is not the only musical star currently touring the country.
Bruno Mars will be taking to the Brisbane stage on Thursday after having to cancel his sold-out show there last Friday due to illness.
