It was four months ago she said yes to Kanye West’s marriage proposal.
But fans were finally able to see the moment the rapper asked Kim Kardashian to be his wife in all of its extravagant glory on Keeping Up With The Kardashians on Sunday.
With roman candles burning, a 50-piece orchestra playing and their family and friends hiding in the dugouts of the San Francisco Giants’ baseball stadium, the rapper told Kim: 'I just want to know.'

As Kanye, 36, got down on one knee, Kim put her hands to her face in shock, and her sisters Khloe and Kendall Jenner gasped from their hiding place.

'You want to know what?' Kim asked coyly. 'If you’ll marry me,' Kanye responded, grinning from ear to ear.
After Kim whispered 'of course,' Kanye handed over a box containing a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.

Kris was the only member of Kim’s family to know about the proposal in advance and had the tough task of getting the Kardashian clan to San Francisco and keeping it a secret.
The family matriarch had just four days to invite Kim’s closest friends and family members on the trip, telling them Kanye was throwing her daughter a birthday surprise.

Disaster almost struck when Kim threatened to call off her trip to San Francisco, telling her family she was feeling sick and didn’t want to go.

But eventually she relented, unaware that her family and friends were dressed in black tie and being chauffeured to AT&T Park in buses.
When Kim’s sisters set foot inside the baseball stadium, they began to get suspicious that perhaps they weren’t just there for a birthday surprise.

As Kim and Kanye drove into the stadium, with Kim blindfolded in the car, the orchestra took position and a hushed silence fell.
'I can’t breathe,' an emotional Khloe whispered. 'This is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m gonna cry. I didn’t know this was real. This is a movie.'

After a stunned Kim accepted the rapper’s marriage proposal, her friends and family ran onto the pitch to congratulate them.
'I was shaking,' Kim told them when quizzed about how she was feeling. 'I forgot what I said,' Kanye admitted when Kim’s sisters asked her how he had proposed.

Admiring her ring, which sparkled under the floodlights, Kim told her future husband: 'It’s, like, the perfect size for my hands.'

'I actually preferred to get a smaller stone that was flawless than some off the bigger offsets,' Kanye said.
The rapper also revealed that he had been up all night finishing the design of the ring and making sure it was perfect.

'Look at that. You see how it floats?' he told Kim. 'This was a different mounting yesterday. This mounting was made today.'

'It really is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I just can’t believe I’m engaged,' Kim gushed.
She added: 'To get engaged and then see all my family and all my friends be there really surprises me and it’s so sweet that Kanye thought to bring them all here.'

Kim also called Bruce Jenner to tell him her news, as he was unable to make the trip to San Francisco.

While the Kardashian family were celebrating Kim’s engagement, it was a sadder time for Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick.
He missed the proposal party to be at his ill mother Bonnie’s hospital bedside in New York.
But Scott allowed himself a brief reprieve and joined the Kardashians for Kanye’s concert in Las Vegas, but his mother Bonnie sadly died the following day with Scott and Kourtney by her side.
