Colin Firth showers his wife Livia with affection as they attend the premiere of The Railway Man

He may be one of Britain's most successful actors.
But Colin Firth still knows who comes first in his life as he showered his wife with affection on the red carpet on Wednesday evening.
The pair were spotted at the premiere of The Railway Man, at Odeon West End Cinema looking smart and sophisticated in similar suits.

Colin, 53, was dressed in a sharp, tailored blue suit, white shirt, polka dot tie and black brogues for the occasion.
The Bridget Jones's Diary actor slicked back his brunette tresses whilst appearing trim and and in shape for the prestigious evening.
Meanwhile his stunning Italian film producer wife, Livia Giuggoili, 44, opted for an androgynous look for the evening and dressed in tailored black suit, with slim cigarette pant-style trousers.

She accessorised the look with a pair of silver drop earrings, green satin heels and a black lace top which she wore underneath her blazer jacket.

The Rome-born producer, who has been married to Colin since 1997, slicked back her raven locks into a sleek bun, whilst keeping her make-up sexy and sophisticated with just some black eyeliner and nude lipstick.
The pair, who appeared to be one of first people to arrive, could not keep their hands of each other as Colin held his wife's waist for every picture and kissed her on the cheek.

Livia was no better as she looked lovingly over at her partner, who stars as the lead role, Eric Lomax, in the new blockbuster.
The Railway Man tells the story of Eric, who was one of thousands of Allied prisoners of war forced to work on the construction of the Thai/Burma railway during WW2, and his experiences left him traumatised and shut off from the world.
Years later, he meets Patti, who discovers that the young Japanese officer who haunted her husband was still alive, and has to face a decision of whether she should let confront his tormentor.

Colin then proceeded to sign autographs for fan, who patiently waited in the cold to see their idols in the flesh.
And The King's Speech actor did not seem to mind in the slightest as he signed booklets and papers for many female fans.
Also spotted on the red carpet was Jeremy Irvine, who plays a young Eric Lomax in the film, and looked similarly preened and smart in a tailored black suit.
