The
Oscar-winner was suited and booted to play wealthy and distinguished
politician Benjamin Stacks in the film, which is being produced by Will
Smith and Jay Z.
His
character, which is based on the classic Oliver 'Daddy' Warbucks role
in the original 1982 musical, was flanked by assistant Grace and his
unnamed 'bulldog political adviser', played by real-life couple Rose
Byrne and Bobby Cannavale.

Jamie,
who has previously been spotted filming alongside 10-year-old
Oscar-nominee Quvenzhané Wallis in New York clad in a casual ensemble,
made a much more dapper appearance this week.
The

position in her director's chair on the sidelines as she watched her
boyfriend work his magic.

on Monday, as he flew out to continue filming the movie after enjoying a
few days off with his family.
A bonding experience: The trio appeared to enjoy
a close relationship as they chatted between takes as a photographer
