Sinitta's quest to set the record straight amid claims she aborted Simon Cowell's unborn child has taken a bizarre new turn.
Seemingly
determined to tell the world her version of events, the 49-year-old
singer has appealed to none other than Jeremy Kyle, begging the ITV host
to let her appear on his famous daytime show.
The
So Macho icon is so adamant that she is telling the truth that she even
offered to take a lie detector test live on air to apparently prove her
allegations.
My story: Sinitta has offered to take a lie
detector test live on The Jeremy Kyle Show to prove her claim she
aborted Simon Cowell's baby is true
Launching another
extraordinary rant on her Twitter page, Sinitta said: 'Jeremy kyle, I
know I declined your celebrity chat, but I'd love to do your show
PROVIDED you provide a lie detection device.. #thisHAStoEnd.
'A
"testimony" is when you tell your story "warts and all" in church or to
a group of people, to show your journey from "lost" to "found"...'
Meanwhile,
Simon's close friend and biographer Tom Bower has revealed Sinitta was
'very upset when it first came to light that the pop mogul was expecting
a child with American socialite girlfriend, Lauren Silverman because
she is still 'deeply in love' with his former flame.
Timing: The reports come just after Simon confirmed he is expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman
Speaking in an interview with
Closer magazine, he said: 'She admitted she was very upset by the
revelations. She didn't see it coming. I think she's deeply, deeply in
love with Simon. She is, in the best sense of the word, confused. She's
just got to sort out her own emotions.'
And while it has been claimed Simon will marry Lauren after she welcomes their child into the world, Tom, 66, isn't too sure.
He
added: 'I don't know if he'll get married. And if he has already agreed
to marry Lauren it just shows her powers of persuasion. I don't
actually know if it will happen.'
Explosive claims: Determined to tell the world
her version of events, the 49-year-old singer has appealed to none other
than Jeremy Kyle, begging the ITV host to let her appear on his famous
daytime show
Tom - author of Sweet Revenge: The
Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell - explained while there are tensions
between Lauren and the other members of the Cowell 'harem', including
Sinitta, Mezhgan Hussainy and Jackie St Clair, Simon thrives on their
rivalry.
He
said: 'Simon's great art is keeping all the women in love with him. He
loves it when they all argue with each other, that's part of his
pleasure. The girls row and get irritated and he enjoys watching them
catfight. It's part of the price, part of the life of being close to
Simon.'
This comes after the star, a close
friend of the music mogul since the late 80s, took to Twitter over the
weekend to set the record straight amid reports she had aborted Cowell's
baby.
Using the social
networking platform, she attacked journalists who she says 'stopped me
defending myself in paper where [it] started (sic)'.
But
none of the mother-of-two's tweets seemed to deny the alleged
termination of the child reportedly conceived with the X Factor boss.
Close: This comes after the star, a close friend

Statement: The former pop star outlined her side of the story via the social networking site
Sinitta began her rant on Friday
night, posting at 5.15pm: 'Last weekend a few of the newspapers reported
that I had terminated @simoncowell child, some said in 2009, another
said behind his back RT.'
Two hours later, she then wrote: 'They
stopped me defending myself in paper where started,so now I have to
tell the whole truth of the @SimonCowell baby termination here RT.'
Another
dramatic pause took place, with her third tweet being sent at 8.15pm:
'They stopped me defending myself in paper where started,so now I have
to tell the whole truth of the @SimonCowell baby termination here RT'.
Two
more hours went by before she tweeted her fourth statement: 'I know how
undignified this is and it sickens me too but I have been
dignified throughout so many unjusts and untrue claims and accusations.
Unclear: Sinitta does not deny the reports of the termination in her tweets on Friday night
'I don't want to hurt the people I have loved, but I don't want to always
be the one who gets hurt either..today I snapped, enough is enough.'This isn't the best place (practically) as SO much to say, im going to set a few things straight even though I am afraid of the consequences,' Sinitta continued. 'I need to pray on this, I need to sleep on this, but I know somehow I need to do this, I'm sorry, but its important to me'.
Last week, the Daily Mirror reported a story about Sinitta's private medical history, claiming to have direct quotes from Cowell's best pal.
Mail Online has contacted both Simon Cowell's and SInitta's representatives for comment.
