Sky high heels and matching accessories! Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are a stylish pair as they dash to school in New York

Even one of Hollywood's richest little girls still has to go to school, but Suri Cruise does it in style.

Her mother Katie Holmes' passion for fashion is clearly rubbing off on the seven-year-old as she looked like a perfect little mini-me walking along side her to school in New York on Friday.

Colour coordinating her bright pink cast with a large backpack and pretty black dress, Tom Cruise's daughter looked like she could be a child model for a Back To School shoot.

Suri, who broke her arm in late August and has been wearing a cast ever since, completed her adorable outfit with white ankle socks, flat ballet pumps and a matching

pink headband holding back her dark hair.

As for former Dawson's Creek star Katie, the 34-year-old wore high nude leather heels for the school run, despite having to walk through the busy streets of the Big Apple to get to class. 

Holmes had a glamorous pink and black patterned dress on which she then played down with a loose denim shirt to keep her warm on the autumn morning.

Standing 5'9" in her bare feet, Katie didn't need the high heels for extra height, but they certainly made her stand out in the crowd of hurrying New Yorkers.

Being careful to hold her left hand that isn't injured, the Jack and Jill actress kept a strong hold on her daughter as she kept her close by her side.

The single mother had a set of papers in her hand and an I.D. badge around her neck, which were perhaps part of the regulations at her Manhattan private school, Avenues.

Coffee run: Katie went to Starbucks after dropping Suri off to get a morning brew

After dropping Suri off for class, Katie went for coffee at Starbucks and was spotted walking back home alone with her morning java in hand.

Currently in between film projects, the Batman Begins star recently wrapped her role in the Spike Lee-produced romantic drama Mania Days alongside Luke Kirby.

Holmes will next appear in Days and Nights, a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull.

Working mum: Along with two upcoming films, Katie has recently been focusing on her fashion line

She'll also head up next year's dramatic film Miss Meadows and co-star with Chace Crawford in the romantic comedy Responsible Adults.
Meanwhile, Suri's father, Tom, will next appear alongside Emily Blunt and Bill Paxon in the sci-fi action film Edge of Tomorrow, which is based on Japanese novel All You Need Is Kill.
Tom plays Lt. Col. Bill Cage who teams up with  Special Forces soldier Rita Vrataski (Blunt) to fight a hostile alien race known as Mimics, with Cage continually returning to a fatal battle through a time loop.
