Jessica Simpson finally sells her Beverly Hills mansion for $6.4m after slashing asking price... but still makes a profit

It's been a hard sell, but Jessica Simpson has finally found a buyer for her Beverly Hills mansion.
Jessica, who bought the property in 2005 for $5.275 million, can still breathe a small sigh of relief as she sold the five-bedroom designer retreat for $6.4 million, which still netted her a profit of $1,125,000.
The 33-year-old singer initially placed the home on the market in May with an original asking price of $7.995 million, but when no one made an offer she was forced to drop the price three months later to $7.295 million.

Jessica, who has a daughter Maxwell, 17 months, and a three-month-old son Ace Knute with fiancé Eric Johnson, was eager to unload the property after the family moved into a
$13 million Hidden Hills estate, which was once owned by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
The Beverly Hills mansion was custom-built in 1991 with designing touches provided by Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic couture.
It features an enormous master bedroom with its own private deck including a view of the expansive grounds.

Another bedroom appears to have been used for Maxwell's nursery - it features a crib, pink decorations and floral wallpaper.

The spectacular landscaped greenery also leads to a rectangular swimming pool set in a lush lawn and surrounded by trees and alongside an outdoor patio.
