But Brad Pitt feels that his eldest child - 12-year-old adopted son Maddox - is mature enough to sit through his latest movie 12 Years A Slave.
In an interview with TODAY Brad was asked by Ann Curry if we allow his son to watch it, to which he replied: 'Maybe my eldest I would, right now'.

The film tells the story of Solomon Northup, who is abducted and sold into slavery having been livin as a free man in upstate New York.
Brad plays a smaller role in the film but also serves as a producer.
'It's why I got into film in the first place. It's one of those few films that cuts to the base of our humanity.'
Meanwhile, it seems that Brad clearly feels that his son Maddox is advanced for his age.
Earlier this year he revealed Maddox would be starring as a zombie extra in his ultra-violent film World War Z.
'He gets shot in the head . . . multiple times. But he gets double tapped,' Brad said at the time.
'I don't know what that says about me as a parent,' he added.
Brad's full interview airs on NBC News TODAY and Ann Curry, on Wednesday, October 16.
Brad - who is currently filming his next project in Buckinghamshire - is said to have recently bonded with his co-star Shia LaBeouf.
A source told UsMagazine.com: 'They play soldiers in the same World War II troop and the director wanted to make sure they bonded. So he dropped them in the wilderness -- without their cellphones!'

Brad, 49, and Shia, 27, were joined by fellow co-stars Logan Lerman, 21, Jon Bernthal, 37, and Kevin Vance.

The new pals were 'ordered' to camp for a few days to develop chemistry on and off screen and even had to resort to hunting for their own food.

The cast have been hard at work preparing for the blockbuster movie with Brad, Shia and Logan all spending the night at a real army base in June.
