Sunday afternoon was all about
American football when Minnesota Vikings held off a fourth-quarter
charge from Pittsburgh Steelers to win their first victory of the season
at Wembley Stadium in London.
But while all eyes were on the game, those in attendance may well have spotted a very familiar face in the crowd.
Indeed,
singer Cheryl Cole was an unlikely spectator when she joined American
boyfriend Tre Holloway for a walk around the pitch ahead of the game.

While dancer Tre opted
for a black Steelers shirt, the former X Factor judge looked
typically
chic in leather trousers and matching top.
A chunky urban chain completed what
amounted to a smart casual look as Cheryl, 30, waved to fans before
climbing up into the stands to take in what amounted to a thrilling game
between the two sides.
Fans
at the event were treated to a rendition of The Star Spangled Banner by
KISS rocker Gene Simmons, who jetted into the UK earlier this week
after being invited to officially perform the American national anthem.

‘I’m excited to be
touching down in London to sing our National Anthem at the
Vikings-Steelers game,’ the 64-year-old said in a statement. ‘I always
love playing a role in these types of high-action, fast-paced games, not
to mention returning to the UK and performing in front of some the best
fans in the world!’
British
star Tinie Tempah also performed in the lead up to the NFL
International Series match, while boxer David Haye was also in
attendance.
Cheryl’s
appearance at the event follows a late night out with Tre and a group of
pals at Sushi Samba at the top of Heron Tower in the city of London.

The former Girls Aloud star had
certainly made an effort by opting to wear a £950 Modernist sweatshirt
and £676 matching mini skirt for Neil Barrett.
Saturday marked the first time Cheryl and Tre have been photographed together since her 30th birthday party in June.
Despite
cheering on the Steelers, Tre appeared to have embraced British
football judging by a tweet added to his official Twitter account
shortly before the Premier League games kicked off this weekend.
'On Saturday, Lets go Tottenham!!!! London turn up has begun!' he wrote.
