For Christina Milian at least, this was a 'bring your daughter to work' day.
The
32-year-old singer was carrying a few extra pounds as she arrived to
practice on Dancing With The Stars on Friday, in the form of her
adorable three-year-old girl Violet.
Christina
was ready to go in orange track trousers, a white T-shirt and another
one strapped around her waist, and colourful high-top trainers.
Bring your daughter to work day: Christina Milian showed up to Friday rehearsal with her sleepy little tot Violet
The mother-of-one also wore the
cheeriest of smiles as she cradled her little girl closer while
strolling briskly to the rehearsal studio.
The
toddler was dressed like she was ready to dance too in horizontally
striped leggings and a giraffe-print top, with eye-catching yellow
booties.
Violet though may had other plans judging by those heavy eyelids and that cheek resting on her mother's capable shoulder.
Hush-a-bye baby: The 32-year-old singer no doubt
was going to let her three-year-old nap while she practiced her dance
moves with partner Mark Ballas
Animal cracker: Violet looked so cute in her boots, striped leggings and giraffe-print top
Heavy lifter: She might be just five-foot-two, but Christina showed how strong she is as she hoisted the little girl in her arms
The child looked like she had only a nap in mind as her legs dangled effortlessly in line with Christina's long strides.
Christina
was also sporting the huge diamond 'engagement' ring on her left hand,
although she has yet to confirm reports that she is indeed engaged to
her boyfriend Jas Prince.
She
sent tongues wagging two days ago as she showed up to the premiere of
her new film Baggage Claim, a comedy that hits US theatres on Friday.
Flasher: Christina looked amazing as she
attended the LA premiere of her new film Baggage Claim on Wednesday,
that big sparkler on her engagement finger stealing much of the
spotlight
Winning team: Christina and her partner Mark Ballas are doing well on the show after coming in at second place during week two
What's in the box: Mark carried a large package - perhaps a birthday gift for Christina who turned 32 on Thursday
Bring on the blondes: Elizabeth Berkley was
rearing to go as she arrived for practice in a black ensemble and troupe
dancer Lindsay Arnold showed off her taut tummy in short crop top and
leggings
Stylish: Emma Slater's red top spiced up her casual practice uniform of black track trousers and trainers
The five-foot-two Dip It Low
singer was dramatically decked out in a clingy black bodysuit and jacket
that just made that diamond ring gleam all the more.
Word
of the engagement emerged early this month with reports claiming that
Christina and the Rap-A-Lot Records CEO got engaged in May.
'He's a great match for her,' a source told People while confirming the news.
So excited: Valerie Harper and Leah Remini put in another grueling day of rehearsals on Friday
Giving their best: Jack Osbourne is trying so hard to dance to the top of the list as is his competitor Corbin Bleu
Buff: Pro dancers Henry Byalikov and Gleb Savchenko strutted their stuff during another day of practice
Christina was previously married to music producer The Dream but they split in 2009 three months after the wedding.
Meanwhile,
Christina and her dance partner Mark Ballas are riding high after
scoring a second-place tie of 25 points in week two.
Christina is getting a lot of praise and no doubt hopes to win next week's round.
Others
showing up for practice on Friday included Corbin Bleu who looked
serious, Leah Remini who was all smiles, and Jack Osbourne.
Amazing muscles: Derek Hough showed off his amazing biceps while leaving rehearsal on Friday
