Just a day earlier, her beau Simon
Cowell gave his first interview to talk about their baby news during an
appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
But judging by her appearance on Monday, Lauren Silverman didn't look too bothered at the X Factor judge's candid remarks.
The
socialite looked happy and relaxed as she took her seven-year-old son
Adam to school in New York City, showing off her growing baby bump under
a clinging biscuit coloured top.

Skinny
black jeans and leopardskin print ballet pumps completed the look,
while she wore full make-up with her dark hair loose around her
shoulders.
Lauren, who is expecting Simon's first child, is in the process of divorcing her estranged
husband Andrew Silverman.
Simon, 53, opened up
on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an interview to air on Tuesday and
admitted news of Lauren's pregnancy was a 'shocker'.
He
said: 'That was a bit of a shocker. When you first get the call, it's
like, OK, put the phone down, gulp. And then I got used to the idea.'
Moving on: Lauren recently relocated from the Hamptons to a 'lavish apartment on the Upper East Side'

Referring
to the fact that Lauren was still married to husband Andrew when news
of her pregnancy broke, Simon added: 'It was kind of uncomfortable, you
know, the situation. But these things happen and everything is kind of
calm now and I'm happy.'
Lauren's appearance came after Simon was spotted with his ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy heading to the X Factor studios in Los Angeles.
Mezhgan, a make-up artist, is currently
working on the new series of The X Factor, which explains why the pair
have been spending a lot of time together.
As MailOnline revealed, Simon has moved Lauren into a $26,500 a month New York apartment.
Harem: Meanwhile, the X Factor judge had been
earlier spotted with his other ex, Terri Seymour at the X Factor
premiere party last week
'I'm actually happier than I've ever been. Everything's fine now and Lauren's adorable,' he added.
He also used the opportunity as a chance to hit back at disparaging rumours about his baby mama, Lauren - insisting she's not a gold-digger.
He added: 'I obviously can’t blame the media - it was kind of what I call a juicy story. But there was a lot of stuff that was said about her: that she trapped me and that she’s a gold-digger.
'It's absolute nonsense. She’s a great girl but, like I said, it was awkward because of the circumstances.'
