She has just designed her first plus-size clothing line to empower the fuller-figured woman.
And
Claire Richards is championing her own range by stepping out in one of
her very own garments, as she appeared from the Park Lane Hotel on
Monday evening.
The
36-year-old former lead singer of pop group Steps, was spotted in her
black BodyCon Textured Dress, costing £65, which accentuated her
slimmed-down figure.

Claire had previously battled with her weight, yo-yoing from a size 10 when she was in
Steps, to size 20 at her largest.
However Claire was looking trimmer than ever and smiled as she stepped into a black cab dressed in the knee-high bodycon dress.
She accessorised her look with a black shoulder bag and peep-toe black stilettos embellished with spiky heels.

The mum-of-two kept her platinum blonde
locks loose and in perfectly blow-dried Hollywood waves, whilst wearing
only a touch of make-up, some pink lipstick, black eyeliner accentuating
her radiant porcelain skin.
Speaking
about her new range for plus-size clothing e-tailer Fashion World, last
month she said: 'I'm really excited about my first collection. When
designing the range I've tried to create pieces that address all the
areas where people might feel a little bit uncomfortable.
'So you know...a nice sleeve, below the knee, a nip in at the waist.

'I absolutely think it's important for
plus-size women to have access to on-trend key pieces for their
wardrobe, I don't see why we should be excluded because we're not what
is considered the norm in fashion terms.
'I
wanted to make sure when designing the collection that it wasn't the
usual items you get when shopping plus-size and that you'll get
something a lot trendier than usual.'
The 36-year-old's new collection is a
mix of conservative but glamorous party dresses, tailored coats and
casual tops and jeans, as well as fringed boots and Mary Jane court
shoes, and she was busy out promoting her range at Fashion World on
Tuesday.
