Justin Bieber to 'give up friends, alcohol, weed for two weeks on Jesus camp in Palm Springs'

After a summer of debauchery and brushes with the law, Justin Bieber is making amends.
The 20-year-old star is reportedly in self-imposed isolation form his Hollywood lifestyle in a bid to get himself back on the Christian straight and narrow.
The Baby singer was spotted in Rancho Mirage just outside Palm Springs, California, over the weekend and, according TMZ, is there to reconnect with his religious beliefs.

The website reports the star is on a 'self-proclaimed mission to learn how to spread the word of God'.
The singer is taken instruction from his spiritual advisor and mega church Hillsong
pastor, Carl Lentz.
While Carl - who reportedly baptised Justin in a bathtub in June - has yet to join the Canadian star on the West Coast, Justin is already getting a head start of his lessons.

A fan photographed the star over the weekend with the New York pastor's book Occupy All Streets, which teaches how to spread the word and resist temptations.
And, resisting is part of the star's two week mission.
According to TMZ, staying away from Hollywood also means distancing himself from his usual Hollywood pursuits.
The site reports: 'Justin has exiled himself from friends, alcohol, weed and everything else that doesn't involve the good Lord.'
It is not known whether he will follow in his friend of six years' footsteps and also taking up preaching following his two week learning experience.
While trouble is never very far away from the singer - he is currently facing possible extradition to Argentina to face questions over an assault allegedly involving his security - the 20-year-old has been spending a lot of time with the preacher of late.
Earlier this month, the star went with the 36-year-old pastor to a Pittsburgh Steelers' bible class and also attended the Knicks opening game together along with Reverend Jesse Jackson.
Justin also recently took Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin to one of his recent rock-style sermons.
Over the weekend, the New York Post published an interview with the church leader about one of his most famous followers.
Admitting Justin is far from perfect, the pastor said: 'He’s on a journey, if he’s not doing good, should we abandon him?'
And while the hitmaker may be cutting out some of his friends at the moment, Carl drew the line at calling some members of the star's entourage bad people.

'I think relationships in your life come and go. And I think what defines you is how you gauge who needs to stay and who needs to go.
'When he’s with me, he rolls with me. He’s like a member of our team... He fits in like a piece of furniture.'
