It's the issue reflecting on a year of duty in the public eye.
And in celebration of Prince George's forthcoming first birthday, the young royal has landed the cover of the August edition of Vanity Fair Magazine.
The
gurgling toddler, who turns one on July 22, is pictured in a candid
shot with his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge which was taken
on their first official tour as a family in Australia and New Zealand.
Happy birthday! Prince George graces the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine ahead of his first birthday on July 22
The Prince is seen cradled in the arms of his mother while visiting Sydney's Taronga Zoo.
Gazing fascinated into the Duke's eyes, he leans closer towards him as Kate watches on
with a wide smile.
And
the young family, who spent 19 days travelling across the antipodean
nations, may be due to expand if reports from within the palace prove
correct.
Mail On Sunday
Royal Correspondent and Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nicholl says in
the issue that 'there are rumors among the couple's friends that they
plan to try this summer.'

New brother or sister? The issue reports that the young family may soon
be due to expand with palace rumours saying the couple are hoping to try
in the summer
Insiders also say the Duke and Duchess
hope to give their son a 'normal upbringing' and regularly take him to
play at the houses of friends who have children of the same age.
The young Prince has so far been well behaved throughout his public appearances, much to the relief of his doting mother.
However,
it appears that behind closed doors, the toddler hasn't always been as
composed, with the gorgeous 11-month-old apparently crying loudly and
waking through the night while he was still breastfeeding.
The
article also reports that Kate has been active in overseeing the
decoration of her son's nursery which is said to include a white
changing table and crib contrary to the palace's tradition of antique
furniture.
