Under
the terms agreed by a judge, Nick , who was raised from a young age by
the chart topper, will be forced to stay at least 200 yards away from
his wife's aunt at all times, for the next year.
According to TMZ
Pat, who is the executor of Whitney's estate, claimed Nick made her
fear for her safety by making threatening comments and posting pictures
of guns on Twitter.
Family feud: Bobbi Kristina Brown married 'adopted' brother Nick Gordon married in January this year, to the surprise of many
Pat
initially took out the restraining order out in March, however a judge
extended the order for the next 12 months on Thursday.
Although never officially adopted by Whitney, Nick lived with the superstar singer from the age of 12.
When
Bobbi Kristina and Nick married back in January, it came as a surprise
to many because they had previously lived as ‘brother and sister.’
Since
Whitney’s death in 2012 the Houston clan have been in turmoil, which
culminated in revelations that Nick was attacked at a family function by
Whitney's nephew Gary Houston in December 2013.
Won a restraining order: Pat Houston won her case for a restraining order against the late singer's son-in-law Nick Gordon
Gary
was said to have attacked Bobbi Kristina’s husband by slamming him to
the floor and punching his face because he felt he has been speaking ill
of the family.
However,
last month Nick tweeted pictures of what appeared to be a $3,100 AR10A
SuperSASS 7.62 rifle, as well as a set of silver and black handguns.
He also
referenced his wife’s relatives on the social networking site, writing:
‘Pat b***h Gary M I’m Freddy to y’all n****az. F*** you suck my d***.’
It
is not clear whether Nick posted the pictures of guns in direct
relation to the feud with Patricia and Gary Houston, but it does seem as
though the family dispute is no closer to being resolved.
