He can be
seen in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as one of Spidey’s nemeses, Electro – a
spooky blue villain who can control electricity.
And
as he prepared to watch his character make its cinematic debut at the
New York premiere pf the film on Thursday, Jamie Foxx was joined by one
of his biggest fans in the form of his daughter.
Little
Annalise, four, arrived as a miniature version of Electro, with her
adorable face painted bright blue and pink electric sparks on it.
The two Electros: Jamie Foxx's daughter Annalise
had her face painted as his character at the Amazing Spider-Man 2
premiere in New York on Thursday
She was a much cuter and less scary version of the supervillain, and Annalise also pulled some cool poses for the cameras.
Proud dad Jamie, 46, carried her in his arms and planted a sweet kiss on her as they walked the red carpet.
Along
with her blue face, Annalise had her hair in two buns and was wearing a
black leather jacket and matching studded trainers along with jeans.
Nemesis: Electro, whose real name is Maxwell Dillon, can control electricity and is one of Spidey's adversaries
A much cuter version: The four-year-old's face was painted blue with pink sparks and she pulled cool poses
His pride and joy: The 42-year-old actor planted a sweet kiss on the youngest of his two daughters
Jamie also
appeared to be representing Electro, whose real name is Maxwell Dillon,
to some extent in a midnight blue suit and matching tie along with a
white shirt.
The
actor and Annalise ran into Pharrell during the evening, and he was
clearly impressed by the youngster’s efforts as they chatted together.
Jamie
has spoken in the past about what a huge fan of Spider-Man Annalise has
always been, and had a Spidey themed party for her third birthday.
The
Django Unchained star got a phone call during the bash – which even
featured a Spider-Man bouncy castle – telling him he’d landed the role
of Electro, but he told Annalise in a special way later on.
Impressed: The pair ran into Pharrell Williams on the red carpet, and he clearly loved Annalise's get-up
Adorable: Annalise wore black while Jamie also appeared to be channelling Electro as he sported a blue suit
Big fan: Jamie has previously spoken about how much Annalise loves Spider-Man, so no doubt she was very excited to see the movie
‘So I take
her out [on set] where they do all the make-up,’ he told News Corp
Australia. ‘She's like, “It's Spider-Man!” And I said, “Daddy's going to
be in Spider-Man,” and she says, “No, Daddy, there’s already a
Spider-Man. What are you going to do?”’
He
has also told The Sun: ‘My daughter is like, “Spider-Man is going to
whoop your butt, right? Spider-Man gets to kick your butt?” And I am
like, “Yeah, he gets to kick my butt a little bit.”’
The
Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma
Stone as his love interest Gwen Stacy, hit UK cinemas on April 18 and
will be released in US cinemas on May 2.
Busting a move: On stage at the premiere's after-party, Jamie and Annalise did a daddy-daughter dance
Happy couple: Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone
also star in the movie, which came out April 18 in the UK and will be
released in the US on May 2
