Leonardo DiCaprio is being lined up to play late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a new biopic.
If
he signs on, the 39-year-old actor will reunite with Danny Boyle, who
is reportedly in talks to direct the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The pair last worked together on 2000 film The Beach.

new biopic
Produced by Sony pictures, the script has been penned by Oscar-wining scribe Aaron Sorkin from the biography by Walter Isaacson.
Boyle apparently replaced
David Fincher as director after the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
director allegedly asked for a hefty salary and 'control over marketing
the movie.'
Fincher had wanted Christian Bale to play Jobs, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new movie comes hot on the heels of Ashton Kutcher in the role of the technology trailblazer.
Jobs was released last year but flopped at the Box Office.
Reuniting: Danny Boyle and Leonardo DiCaprio worked together on 2000 film The Beach
However, DiCaprio has yet to sign on for the movie and there could be a scheduling issue with the role.
He is already signed up to star in thriller The Revenant which is slated to begin shooting in September.
The Revenant, based on Michael Punke's 2002 novel, The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge will be directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.
The movie will mark DiCaprio's return to acting after taking a 'long break' from the profession.
Flop: Ashton Kutcher played the tech genius in last year's biopic Jobs which crashed at the box office
He starred
in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby
and Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street in quick succession - the
latter winning him a Best Actor Oscar nomination.
'I think it's more of a vacation or a hiatus,' the star told E! News earlier this year. 'I've already taken a lot of time off.
'You
know this film [Wolf Of Wall Street] wrapped in January, so I'm
probably going to be looking for something to do soon. But hopefully
it'll be as exciting as a film like this. I don't know if I can find
one.'
