Liam Neeson reveals he never received a sympathy note from ski resort where Natasha Richardson died and pair had made pact to pull plug if either ended up in coma

Liam Neeson has revealed that certain segments of his emotional and frank interview with Anderson Cooper were left on the cutting room floor.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Liam, 61, revealed: 'There were some other things I said [On 60 Minutes] that got edited out, that I wish had been kept in'.

When asked what they were, the Taken actor revealed that he had not received a sympathy card from the ski resort where his late wife Natasha Richardson died in 2009.

'The ski resort where Natasha met her death... and we got hundreds, maybe a couple of thousand sympathy cards, e-mails and stuff from all over the world, especially
America...'

'Not one from that ski resort. I kid you not. Not one'.
Liam's interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes aired on 23 February.

Although the actor appeared to be disappointed certain things were not included in the interview, he praised Anderson as a journalist.
Liam told Anderson in the original interview that her death at the age of 45 still doesn't seem real to him.
The actor explained how he arrived at a Canadian hospital to be told by doctors that Richardson was brain dead after her accident.

'She was on life support... I went in to her and I told her I loved her, said "Sweetie, you're not coming back from this, you've banged your head"' he said.
'She and I had made a pact, if any of us got into a vegetative state that we'd pull the plug. That was my immediate thought,"Okay, these tubes have to go. She's gone."'
The Irish actor married Richardson in 1994 and the couple had two sons.
He said that even today, he expects Richardson to come walking through the door.
'[Her death] was never real,' he told Anderson.
'It still kind of isn't. There's periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years... anytime I hear that door opening, I still think I'm going to hear her.'
