On Saturday the 31-year-old star won the Independent Film Spirit award for supporting actress for her role in 12 Years A Slave, and she matched the feat with an Oscar in the same category on Sunday. The movie also nabbed the Academy's best picture honor.

Mexico-born Lupita, who was heading home to Brooklyn, New York, looked elegant in a selection of glamorous gowns during her stay in LA.
And she looked equally chic in her travelling ensemble - a light grey tailored jacket over a white T-shirt, black skinny jeans and black boots. She added a splash of colour with a large red Miu Miu handbag, which she slung over one shoulder.
Gabrielle Union appeared to be taking a leaf out of Lupita's hairstyle book, as she arrived at LAX.

Alfonso Cuaron, 52, headed out of LAX after celebrating all night at the Oscars following his win for Best Director for Gravity.
The Mexican helmer, who now lives in London, was accompanied by two of his children, 10-year-old Tess and son Olmo, eight.
The family was casually dressed with Alfonso in a blue hoodie, grey T-shirt and baggy blue jeans. Tess and Olmo are his children with ex-wife Annalisa Bugliani.
