The house of rock: Black Sabbath guitarist's six-bedroom mansion offered for sale at £2.65million

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has put his mansion up for sale, complete with a home cinema and six acres of land.
But at £2.65million, any die-hard metal fans hoping to scoop up the ultimate piece of celebrity memorabilia may have to think again.
The 109-year-old Edwardian home, called Netherwood, also features a bespoke sound system, state-of-the-art security, and stained glass windows.

The house, in Lapworth, Warwickshire, originally went on sale in September last year, priced at £3million, but after several months on the market Iommi has been forced to slash the asking price by £350,000 in the hopes of a quick sale.
The house has original features such as open fireplaces and stained glass windows, but also features some new rock star additions such as a recording studio and a baby piano.

Iommi made his name with legendary rock band Black Sabbath in 1968 alongside Ozzy Osbourne, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward.
The group - who are cited as pioneers of heavy metal - helped shape the genre with hits such as Black Sabbath, Paranoid and Master of Reality.
MTV hailed the group, who have sold over 70 million records worldwide, as the "Greatest Metal Band" and they were inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rock Hall of Fame in 2006.

Last year they released their latest album 13, which was critically acclaimed and topped charts around the world, while Iommi was awarded an honorary degree from Coventry University.
Iommi, who was diagnosed with cancer in January 2012, thanked his fans for their support on his official website and stated he expects to finish his treatment this year.
He wrote: 'We've some good things lined up for the coming year, firstly the Grammys, then some dates in the US and Canada, and in the summer a quick trip round Europe.

'I should also be finishing my regular treatment and I'm hoping to not get so tired, all positive.'
While fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to 13, Iommi has recently said band members are all too busy to think seriously about recording another album.
Butler has also voiced his concerns, adding that any new material might not get the same acclaim as 13, which was the group's first chart-topper for 43 years.
