He has only been a father for six days.
But Simon Cowell looked every inch the doting dad as he carried his son Eric around Manhattan on Thursday.

The music mogul and his partner Lauren Silverman headed out for the day with the little one, and Simon made sure he had a firm grasp on his baby's carrier.

But his first child didn't have much of an idea about what was happening as he was fast asleep while he was being transported around.

Simon looked a dab hand at fatherhood as he led the way out of the couple's New York hotel while holding onto Eric's baby carrier with a tight grip.

He had a stern look on his face as he carefully walked down the steps of the hotel clearly concentrating while carrying his son, who was born last Friday.

Despite now being a father, The X Factor boss is yet to start dressing differently as he wore his trademark look of a big blue coat, loose-fitting jeans, a T-shirt, smart black shoes and sunglasses as he ventured out with his family.

The brunette beauty was also dressed in similar attire to Simon in a long coat with blue jeans, a T-shirt and sunglasses.
