Kanye West isn't known for his friendly sidewalk manner when it comes to his adoring public.
The 36-year-old rapper wore his typical sour face when a fan approached him as he was leaving his posh high-rise apartment in New York on Tuesday.
Kanye was clearly annoyed and in no mood for chit chat when the young man held up his camera phone and started clicking away.

The music mogul, in fact, nearly walked into the fan's arm that was stretched out in front of his face.

Kanye kept walking and the hoodie-clad youth kept snapping, until the recording artist's burly bodyguard stepped in to stop the impromptu photo session.
The Atlanta-born star, who is worth about $100 million thanks to his music career and his sideline as fashion designer, may have had a change of heart once he reached the safety of his car.
