The singer had just got off a flight from Paris, on Sunday, and whipped her phone out straight away as she made her way out of the airport.
Janet, 47, has rarely been seen over the last year, since news of her marriage to her third husband, Wissam Al Mana, emerged.

She did make an appearance at Cannes Film Festival for amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS event, wearing a white outfit, after reports suggested she had reached billionaire
status, just like her 37-year old Quatari husband.
The star is thought to have made her millions from an incredible career in entertainment spanning four decades, according to Variety.
Janet reportedly made $458million from various concert tours, a further $304million from movie roles - including the Eddie Murphy comedy The Nutty Professor II and Tyler Perry's box office hit, For Colored Girls - as well as $268million in album sales and $81million in endorsement and sponsorship deals.

Her husband, on the other hand, made his fortune in the Middle East having taken over his late father's business Al Mana Retail along with his two brothers.
The company represents the interests of famous brands such as Balenciaga, Giorgio Armani, Hermes, and Roberto Cavalli, in the Middle East.
The couple are reportedly planning on having children together, with Janet having none of her own so far, and Us Weekly reporting that: 'She wants kids [and] if she can’t have them; she will adopt.'

But Janet is still planning a musical comeback as she told Billboard.com: 'I am working on a new project now. We are creating the concept and initial thoughts on the music.'
She added: 'I’ve been exposed to all types of great music. I like to collaborate on my music. The creative process is fun and you get a lot of ideas from having discussions about it. Ultimately, the final decision is mine.'
She returned to Los Angeles on the night of the Grammys, but did not attend, even though she is a 13-time award winner at the musical award ceremony.
Janet is also the only artist in history to have nominations spanning across the Pop, Dance, Rock, Rap, and R&B categories.
