Sources told The Hollywood Reporter the biopic has been taken off The Weinstein Company’s calendar because the film, in which the Australian actress plays Grace Kelly – a Hollywood actress-turned-Princess of Monaco - is yet to be delivered to the organsiation.
There is no new release date set for the movie, and the production has been going on amid a reported feud between the director, Olivier Dahan, and Harvey Weinstein.

The film’s release date was pushed back from November 2013 to March 2014 with The Weinstein Company citing the delay was because the movie would not be ready in time.
Following this announcement, Dahan revealed his frustrations about working with Weinstein on the project.

Speaking to a French newspaper after the film’s first delay, he said: ‘It's right to struggle, but when you confront an American distributor like Weinstein, not to name names, there is not much you can do.
'Either you say "Go figure it out with your pile of s**t" or you brace yourself so the blackmail isn't as violent … If I don't sign, that's where the out-and-out blackmail starts, but I could go that far.
'There are two versions of the film for now: mine and his … which I find catastrophic.'
However, insiders have told The Hollywood Reporter that while Weinstein has given the filmmaker notes about the motion picture, the production company boss doesn’t have ‘creative control’ over the project and is unable to make cuts to the movie.

What’s more, delays aren’t the only problems faced by the movie, which is set in 1962 and tells the story of the former actress’ personal life during a political dispute between France and Monaco over tax laws.
The motion picture has come in for recent royal criticism from Monaco’s Prince Albert II and his sisters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, who described a ‘series of scenes’ in the movie as ‘purely fictional’.
In a statement, the royal House of Grimaldi said: ‘Therefore, the royal family wishes to stress that this film in no way constitutes a biopic.
‘It recounts one rewritten and needlessly glamorised page in the history of Monaco and its family with both major historical inaccuracies and a series of purely fictional scenes.’
