Rio Ferdinand could be looking for a new business venture, as he admitted in November that retirement from professional football could be on the cards soon.
Spotted eyeing up a shop in Manchester, the 35-year-old Manchester United defender seemed to be looking for the ideal home for a new enterprise.
The English footballer is already brand ambassador for #5 magazine, a multi-platform digital lifestyle website, which also sells a range of casual wear.

Perhaps the former England Captain could be looking for a new store to house his #5 brand, which is has been endorsed by celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Nicole Scherzinger.
The footballer was spotted looking around a vacant shop in Manchester dressed in a black puffer gilet, black jumper and dark jeans, completing the look with a black baseball cap from his #5 brand.
He was accompanied by a man and a women who were casually dressed in grey tracksuits, perhaps informing him of the property up for sale.

As fans will already know, Rio already owns Italian restaurant Rosso in Manchester, which is popular with footballers, WAGs, soap stars and glamour models.
It has been rumoured the former England Captain is also looking to move into punditry.
The Manchester United defender told Metro: ‘I don’t know what will happen, I’ve got to get through this season first. I hope I finish this one.'
Adding wistfully: ‘Last season I said the same thing. I won’t look any further than the end of the season and then re-evaluate it around that time.’
