The couple couldn't wipe the smiles from their faces as they excitedly showed off their wedding rings and passionately kissed for the cameras in a parking lot outside their local CVS/Pharmacy in Georgia.
The casually-dressed newlyweds have shrugged off their detractors, who have taken issue with the fact that they were essentially raised as brother and sister after Nick was taken in by Bobbi Kristina's late mother, Whitney Houston.
Sealed with a kiss: Newly married Bobbi Kristina
Brown and Nick Gordon couldn't keep their hands off each other as they
puckered up for the cameras on Friday, following their shock wedding
announcement
Newlyweds: The pair excitedly showed off their
wedding rings a day after revealing they had married in an intimate,
low-key wedding
First public outing: The lovebirds appeared
thrilled to share their happiness, enjoying an impromptu photo shoot in
the parking lot of their local CVS/Pharmacy in Georgia
The pair looked like excitable teenagers - which isn't far from the truth - as they thrust forward their left hands to reveal their blinged-out ring fingers.
They then went in for a series of smooches as they displayed their love for one another.
The
20-year-old wore jeans, knee-high brown boots, a black T-shirt and
camel-coloured ribbed cardigan for the outing, accessorising with a
lanyard around her neck that held her various keys.
Blinged out: The 20-year-old took every
opportunity to flash her sparkler as she tenderly touched her new
husband with her left hand
A present from hubby? The new Mrs Gordon
clutched two teddy bears at one point, before putting them back in the
car to free up her hands for hugging Nick
Her sunglasses were casually tucked into
the neckline of her top and she carried a small green handbag over one
shoulder on a long strap.
She
had a face full of make-up, including silver-grey eyeshadow and soft
pink lips, while her long black-brown highlighted locks were nicely
styled in a straight 'do.At one point the aspiring singer clutched two teddy bears - presumably a gift from her new husband - before putting them back into the car.
'Don't think 4 a sec that a ceremony isn't in
store this year': Bobbi Kristina tweeted that same day that the pair are
looking forward to celebrating their union with a much more grand
ceremony soon
Complementary couple: The casually-clad duo
showed off their similar low-key style as they hit the shops, with Nick
donning track pants, sneakers and a T-shirt and his wife dressed in
jeans, boots, a tee and cardigan
Twenty-four-year-old Nick also went for a casual look in black cargo pants and a black long-sleeved top worn under an Air Jordan tee emblazoned with white and yellow text that perfectly matched his sneakers.
A camouflage baseball cap covered his close shaven hair, while he wore a Bluetooth earpiece and long silver cross necklace.
While the couple may have cemented their union with an intimate, low-key exchanging of vows, Bobbi Kristina assured fans on Friday that a more grand affair will soon follow.
Expecting an important call? The groom kept his
Bluetooth headpiece firmly in his ear during the outing, while he also
clutched his wallet in his hand
Change of mind? Nick appeared to be rocking a
shiny plain gold band on Friday, in contrast to the more brushed bronzed
one he was wearing in the photo posted to Twitter the day before
'Nothing is ever official until it's done under
the eyes of god': The aspiring singer hinted at more exiting times ahead
for the pair including an elaborate wedding and honeymoon
'Don't think 4 a sec that a ceremony isn't in store this year ...!? they're will be a wedding & a gorgeous1at that (: #nomoredetailstho! (sic),' she tweeted.
She later added: 'Nothing is ever official until it's done under the eyes of god . @nickdgordon much love!'
On Sunday, it came to light that despite saying they had received their family's blessing to marry, that actually couldn't have been further from the case.
Not giving her approval: Cissy Houston
reportedly did not give her blessing for her granddaughter and Nick to
marry despite Bobbi Kristina's recollection of events
On Friday, the bride told TMZ it was her late mother's dream for a happily ever after for her and Nick.
In a video posted on the site, the newlywed said: 'This is exactly what she wanted: us together.'
According to the couple, even Cissy approved of the nuptials.
The Greatest Love Of All: The young couple - pictured here in 2012 - claim Whitney Houston always wanted them to be together
'We saw her at our cousin's sweet 16 and
she gave us her blessing,' Nick said, before Bobbi Kristina chimed in,
'She's very happy.'But according to TMZ, Houston family sources say that although all three were all at the sweet 16 party, neither of the young lovers asked Bobbi Kristina's grandmother for approval.
In fact, the 80-year-old was allegedly incensed when she found out the couple married last week, though she realises it's out of her control.
Her wish: Despite being raised as siblings, Bobbi Kristina insists her mother would have approved of their union
In 2012, Cissy was said to be 'worried' that the pair, who were raised like brother and sister by Whitney, were dating.
Despite her grandmother's protests, the late Whitney's daughter announced her engagement to her longtime friend in October 2012, during her family's short-lived Lifetime reality series The Houstons: On Our Own, which depicted the fallout from the legendary singer's death on February 11, 2012.
'YES, we me nick are engaged. I'm tired of hearing people say "eww your engaged to your brother" or "if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,"' Bobbi Kristina wrote on her Facebook page at the time.
That's my granny: Bobbi Kristina and Cissy attended the premiere of their family's reality show in October 2012
Family affair: The newlywed couple were raised like siblings but are not related in any way
However, the couple called it quits soon after, before reconciling and recommitting to their engagement in July 2013.
On September 16, Nick tweeted that he had 'just upgraded the ring and added two bands #blingbling' along with a photo of his fiancée's impressive engagement ring - a custom-made Neil Lane sparkler.

their relationship and eventually reconciling and renewing their
commitment in July 2013
Bobbi Kristina's tweet sharing the news Thursday was accompanied by a photo of her hand over Nick's as the pair showed off their wedding bling.
Her hefty diamond dazzler sits pride of place on the aspiring singer's ring finger in the sepia photo, which also reveals Nick's own simple bronze band and Bobbi Kristina's matching bronze manicure.
'#HappilyMarried So #Inlove if you didn't get it the first time that is,' she informed her more than 129,000 followers.

#blingbling': On September 16, Nick revealed that he had added to his
fiancée's already impressive custom-made Neil Lane sparkler
Whitney died at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel from accidental drowning in a bathtub. But the coroner concluded that heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors.
Bobbi Kristina's father is troubled R&B singer Bobby Brown.
