'Hair gel' or...? Cameron Diaz recreates her iconic hairdo from There's Something About Mary as she leaves vegan restaurant

Cameron Diaz will forever be remembered for her role in the hit rom-com There's Something About Mary, where her use of 'hair gel' created an iconic 'do.
And the 41-year-old actress still managed to recreate it as she left vegan restaurant Cafe Gratitude in Los Angeles, California on Saturday.
In the film, the styling product was actually only mistaken for gel (ahem) after hanging from her co-star Ben Stiller's ear.

But that didn't stop the actress from displaying the embarrassing look again.

Whilst combing her fingers through her hair, the star's blonde locks perked right up - just as they did in the 1998 flick.

Though, this was certainly no fancy dinner date like on the silver screen. Instead, Cameron was dressed down.

Comfortable and casual, she donned a loose grey shirt, white blouse, cropped drawstring trousers. Adding a chic touch, she sported a pair of brown suede ankle boots.

Embracing her natural look, the San Diego-native opted to go make-up free, which comes as no surprise since she has recently been promoting her new body-confident healthy living book.
Cameron's book is titled The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body.
The book officially hit shelves at the end of December.
It emphasizes nutrition, fitness and attitude over traditional perceptions of beauty.
Some of the pages are filled with healthy meal choices.
As others outline her struggles as a teen with acne, which she claims to have overcome by forgoing processed food for more natural choices.
Aside from promoting The Body Book, Cameron has a busy year ahead.
The actress is set to star in three films this year which are all currently in post-production, so there's no doubt she'll be making many promotional appearances.
The first of which is a comedy titled The Other Woman, which centers around infidelity and revenge which also stars Leslie Mann and Kate Upton and is set for release in April.

Cameron will also be seen in this year's screen version of Annie, and The Sex Tape.
