fashion on Thursday, but Sarah Jessica Parker still made sure her kids
look cute as a button, despite the freezing temperatures.
The 48-year-old actress, who played Carrie in Sex And The City, walked her four-year old daughter, Tabitha and 11-year-old son James to school on Thursday in New York.
The
star, who is married to 51-year-old Matthew Broderick, wore her
favorite grey padded coat, grey bobble hat, black ankle boots, rolled
up faded jeans and glasses.

But it was Tabitha who
stole the show wearing a purple padded coat with a fur-lined hood, blue
tights, and pink socks that peeked through a pair of adorable red cowboy
boots with white stars.
At one point, her face was barely visible as it was covered up in her large hood.
Tabitha usually walks to school with her mom and twin Marion, but her sister did not come along this time around.

Meanwhile, James happily walked beside his mom and sister, wearing an aqua hat, red padded jacket and grey jeans.
He was also enjoying a drink and carried a brown paper bag, perhaps his breakfast or lunch.
While Sarah Jessica enjoys her motherly duties during the day, she also finds the time to attend various functions at night.

On Monday, Sarah Jessica was seen at the 2nd Annual Cosmo 100 Power Lunch.
She posed for pictures with AnnaSophia Robb, who plays teenage Carrie in the CW's The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex And The City.
The two looked chummy, united by the bond of playing the same iconic character audiences worldwide have grown to
love, with Sex And The City listed as
one of Time Magazine's 100 best TV shows of all-time and placing fifth on
Entertainment Weekly's New TV Classics List.

In The
Carrie Diaries, a show set in 1984, AnnaSophia plays Carrie as a junior in high
school who is learning about life, love, and loss while chasing her dreams
of becoming a writer.
Sarah Jessica, meanwhile, is appearing on Broadway in the Commons of Pensacola.
The play tells the story of Sarah Jessica's character confronting her
mother, played by Blythe Danner, over the financial crimes committed by her father.
The character's father draws similarities
with real-life stockbroker Bernard Madoff, and has been incarcerated
for orchestrating a massive Ponzi scheme.
The play runs until January 26, 2014.
