On Thursday the beauty showed off a very different side to her personality as she directed actors on the Australian set of her new film Unbroken.
Not only did the 38-year-old chuck her customary black attire in favor of more cheerful colors, but she also stopped to take selfies with young fans and even told the crowd, 'G'day everyone' as she smiled happily.
Looks like fiancé Brad Pitt's recent visit turned her normally serious mood around.

The set was at an old train station in Australia's Werris Creek, New South Wales.
The actress was seen talking to her film's actors who were dressed in vintage dresses and suits.
At one point the actress turned director - who last was behind the camera for In The Land Of Blood And Honey - turned to a sea of fans and said, 'Do you like all the 1920s stuff?' according to an onlooker.
She was extremely affable and approachable.
Unbroken is drama that covers the life of Olympic runner Louis Zamperini who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II.
Garrett Hedlund, Jack O'Connell and Alex Russell star.
The Coen brothers worked on the script.
The movie, which is expected to be released on Christmas day in 2014, has been shooting Down Under for the past two months.

Later she talked to a group of teenaged girls, who smiled from ear to ear, and held out one of their green iPhones to take selfies with one brunette onlooker.
She did the same again with another fan's iPhone, this one white.
The Wanted actress also took time chat with several of the spectators.

Meanwhile her twins Knox and Vivienne, aged five, were seen being taken by their nannies to an ice cream parlor.
Knox looked sporty in shorts, a white T-shirt, trainers and a mini trucker hat.
Vivienne was cute in black leggings and floral hat as she carried a little yellow blankie.
Angelina's attire was the most eye-catching however.

Meanwhile: Nannies took her twins Vivienne and Knox, aged five, to ice cream

Normally the Oscar winner is clad in head-to-toe black, but on Thursday she wore a light grey tank top with a cream colored wide brimmed hat and pink ballet shoes.
She didn't go completely without the dark color though. Her slacks were black as was the ribbon on her hat, and the lacy bra that peeked out from under her top.
She smartly wore her hair in a braided ponytail and seemed to be wearing no makeup. Gold-rimmed Ray-Ban aviators shielded her eyes from the sun.
Short pink nails helped show off her enormous diamond Robert Procop engagement ring from Brad.

Busy set: There were dozens of people around for this one scene

Her partner of nearly eight years was nowhere in sight but over the weekend he was spotted with the Tomb Raider darling as they boarded a yacht called Ghost inside the Sydney Harbour.
The 12 Years A Slave actor looked thrilled to be reunited with his family as he took photographs and watched his children paddle board.
The 49-year-old has been in England shooting his WWII movie Fury in which he plays Wardaddy.
The actor will turn 50 on December 18 and is expected to be with his family then. He will reportedly be in Australia over the Christmas holiday.
Angelina's Unbroken doesn't wrap until January.
