Britney Spears admits she would like a 'mini-me' daughter to stop her feeling lonely ...and says she felt sorry for Kim Kardashian over weight gain

Britney Spears and her team had promised fans that her eighth studio album would be her most personal to date.

But while Britney Jean hasn't lived up to that promise, it seems the singer is making a concerted effort to be candid in her interviews at least.

Talking to magazine InStyle for their January issue, Britney covers keeping fit, her desire to have a baby girl and feeling sorry for Kim Kardashian.

The article is said to document the star as she prepares for her upcoming stint in Las Vegas.

Talking about having another child, Britney said: 'I would really like to have another baby, a girl. I think she would be like a mini-me,'

Adding: 'I think it’s going to be crazy. I’m not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I’m going to feel like I have a second person, like, that’s me.'

On the subject of watching Kim Kardashian get emotional over gaining weight whilst pregnant, Britney revealed: 'I was like, "Bless her heart," because I remember that time... That should be the time when your body is most treasured.'

She then added: 'I loved being pregnant for so many reasons, not to mention the sex is awesome then.'

Speaking about keeping in shape, she said: 'In this business, you make a deal with the devil... what I do calls for me to look good. People expect that. I kind of take it as my job.'

But Britney does admit she's trying to tone down her look as she gets older.

'When I was younger, I cared a lot more about what I wore,' she says.

'But the older you get, the more you think about what’s easy and comfortable. And, as a mom, I’m a little bit more conservative.'

Whilst not looking conservative, Britney certainly appeared to tone down her popstar image as she stepped out with sons Jayden and Sean Preston along with boyfriend David Lucado at the weekend, as they headed to their local Pinkberry for a small snack.

The Toxic singer was wearing a light pink fuzzy poncho with matched her baseball-style long sleeve T-shirt with hot pink sleeves.

She topped off the girlish look with a pair of hot pink platform high-tops from Sketchers. 

Her main squeeze Lucado sported a blue trucker hat, dark denim jeans and a checked red flannel button down top.

Britney's young sons Jayden,7, and Sean Preston,8, trailed behind the couple as they chomped down on frozen treats.

It's all about the correct attire: The 32-year-old wore pink as she grabbed Pinkberry with her boys

Color coded: While their mother rocked pink, Jayden dressed head to toe in blue while his brother wore red

While his mother was in the pink, Sean Preston was feeling the blues, as the young boy dressed head-to-toe in his favorite color.
His brother followed suit, as Jayden wore a red Adidas track suit for the rainy day outing.
The group enjoyed their Pinkberry yoghurts while ducking under a covered patio to shield them from the wet weather.

Later in the day, it was back to work for Britney.

The 32-year-old left her pink ensemble at home, changing into grey sweats, that were covered in paint splatter, to head to practice.

The pop star is currently in rehearsals for her Las Vegas stage show Britney: Piece of Me, which begins its residency at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino on December 27.
